Fabrics
At Rhubaia, every garment begins with responsibly sourced materials that meet the highest standards of quality, ethics, and environmental care. Our fabrics are chosen for their durability, elegance, and low impact. We combine traditional craftsmanship with modern quality control, and even our Corozo buttons reflect our commitment to biodegradable, eco-friendly materials.
All Rhubaia fabrics are dyed using natural, eco-conscious dyes, a process that allows subtle variations in color and tone to emerge. This means each piece is uniquely its own, reflecting the authenticity of natural dyeing and the individuality of every garment.
Each Rhubaia collection embodies ethical production and timeless, sustainable style, where innovation, nature, and conscience come together.

Eco-Friendly Silk
Cruelty-free silk is a soft, plant-based fabric made from discarded cotton linters, giving it a lightweight, breathable, and beautifully draped silk-like feel. Its use of otherwise wasted cotton fibers makes it an eco-friendly alternative for elegant garments.

Organic Cotton
Organic cotton is grown without pesticides or harmful chemicals, using less water and creating a gentler impact on the environment. It’s safer for farmers and wearers alike, reducing chemical exposure, allergens, and overall carbon footprint.

Bamboo
Bamboo fabric is an exceptionally sustainable plant that grows and biodegrades quickly, making its textile a strong choice for eco-friendly living. Naturally antibacterial, hypoallergenic, and moisture-absorbent, bamboo fabric stays durable, resists odors, and offers comfort and performance even with repeated use.

Banana
Banana fabric is made from the stems of the banana plant and offers a unique blend of silky softness and cotton-like durability. It’s certified non-toxic, eco-friendly, breathable, and highly moisture-wicking, making it ideal for comfortable, long-lasting garments and accessories.

Cork
Cork is a natural material made from the bark of cork trees (regenerates every 9 years), which can be harvested without harming the tree. Lightweight, water-resistant, and highly durable, it offers a unique textured appearance ideal for bags, accessories, and eco-friendly fashion.

Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus plant-based leather is an eco-friendly alternative made from cellulose fibers extracted from eucalyptus trees, offering the look and feel of traditional leather with far less environmental impact. Produced using minimal water, energy, and chemicals it is durable, recyclable, and completely cruelty-free.

Corozo
Corozo is a biodegradable, non-toxic material made from naturally fallen palm seeds. Known as vegetable ivory, it’s highly durable, scratch-resistant, and easily dyed with eco-friendly, wash-resistant colors.
